Sponsored subscriptions allow users to purchase subscriptions for others. There are two types available:

Integration Requirements Gift and Multi-Seat subscriptions require custom integration and are not part of the standard Wallkit integration process. To enable sponsored subscriptions on your website, please contact us at [email protected] for custom integration setup.
Once integrated, you can configure and manage these subscription types through the Wallkit dashboard.

Anyone can purchase a Gift Subscription for use by another person. This option can be listed alongside the other plans in the Plans popup.

Important: The gift subscription will not activate until the recipient uses their activation code. The billing period begins only after the recipient activates the subscription, not at the time of purchase.

After purchase, the sponsor can enter the email address of the recipient to whom they're gifting the subscription.
The sponsor can either:
In Account Settings, the sponsor can manage the gift subscription:
✅ Check the gift code
✅ Check whether the subscription has been activated
✅ If not activated: Change the recipient's email address and resend the gift
✅ After activation: Cancel auto-renewal or change who will pay for the subscription
